Ambush/ATLWake.com Doubles Contest,
I have never laughed so hard in my life while watching wakeboarding! Usually wakeboard contests are a snooze-fest...but the Ambush/ATLWake.com Doubles Contest was pure, gut busting entertainment. The contest consisted of a teams of two wakeboarders riding doubles behind the boat. Originally, each rider was to be judged based on their performance against the other teams, technical skill, and how well the team rode together. Instead...we got a fully flared costume party. Teams dressed up in outfits ranging from the ever-sexy Chip and Dales to Miami Vice to Maverick and Goose from Top Gun. I think ZZ Top made an appearance to the event as well. Anyways...there still was a contest to put on and the results (although not quite as cool as the costumes) were...

Benefit Art Auction ,
The Kennesaw Skatepark Committee is hosting a Benefit Art Auction for the Swift-Cantrell Skatepark. All the money raised will be donated to the Kennesaw Swift Cantrell Skatepark Fund. The committee is doing a great job on fund raising, but the task is far from over. Please come out and support the process. For more information on the skatepark check out www.kennsawskatepark.com.  You can also display your support by purchasing a Swift-Cantrell Skatepark tee at Ambush. The tees are $15 and all of the proceeds go to the skatepark.

DLXSF demo @ Ambush,
We would like to thanks evryone who attended the DLXSF demo last Saturday April 28th. A special thanks goes out to Keith Hufnagel, Peter Ramondetta, Ernie Torres, Bobby Worrest, James Hardy, Justin Brock, David Clark, Kevin Radley, and everyone else from DLXSF. They arrived a couple hours early for the demo and skated hard for the crowd for over three hours and signed autographs for an hour after that, this has to be the best demo we have ever had. Ambush team rider, Dustin Hart won the Reveal Tour Best Trick Contest yesterday at the Woodward skatepark. The winning trick was a switch bigspin heelflip down the big four and took home 2,000 dollars in cash.
